66-Year-Old Man Found Dead After Marietta House Fire, Investigation Ongoing

On October 18, 2024, at approximately 9:26 PM, Cobb Police officers responded to reports of a residential structure fire on Jamerson Forest Circle in Marietta, Georgia. Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services quickly arrived and extinguished the blaze.

During their investigation, firefighters discovered a 66-year-old male deceased inside the residence. Cobb Fire contacted the Cobb Police Major Crimes Unit for further assistance. The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to the scene. No obvious signs of foul play were found.
