Firefighters Contain Commercial Blaze in Powder Springs, GA

ON Friday, October 18th, a commercial fire erupted on Hopkins Court SW in Powder Springs, Georgia, prompting a significant response from multiple fire units. Cobb County Fire Engines 10, 22, 6, 7, 23, along with Trucks 22 and 17, Rescues 30 and 2, Squad 7, Hazmat 80, Battalions 1 and 5, Air 30, and District 1 were dispatched to the scene of the multi-family structure fire.

Fire crews worked diligently to bring the fire under control, successfully containing it to one structure while ensuring the evacuation of nearby homes. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries associated with the incident.

Firefighters operated multiple fire attack lines and conducted thorough searches for any possible victims within the affected area. Their efforts were instrumental in preventing further damage and safeguarding the community.
