Tooms County Sheriff Announces Four Sex Offenders Released From Prison

In accordance with O.C.G.A.16-5-110, the Tooms County Sheriff’s Office is required to publicize the release of sex offenders:

• Shayna Danette Chadwick and Jerry Chadwick, residing at 197 J. Gibbs Rd in Vidalia, GA. Arrested on May 5, 2021 and charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child. She was convicted July 25, 2022 and released from prison on September 11, 2024.
• Curtis Perry, residing at 317 Sadie Galbreath Rd in Vidalia, GA. Convicted on August 17, 2005 of Statutory Rape. After almost 20 years in prison, he was released on May 20, 2024.
• Chane Van den Burg, residing at 3863 Vann Rd in Vidalia, GA. Convicted on May 10, 2016 in South Dakota for Possessing, Manufacturing, or Distributing Child Pornography. Recently released.
