Henry County Police Conduct Drug Raids, Seize Large Quantities of Narcotics and Firearms
On September 5, 2024, the Henry County Police Special Services Division, assisted by the Henry County Police S.W.A.T. team, executed two simultaneous narcotic search warrants. The operations took place on SR 42 and in a neighborhood north of the McDonough square on SR 42, McDonough, Georgia.
During the raids, law enforcement agents confiscated approximately 500.25 grams of marijuana, 11.1 grams of fentanyl, and 235.5 grams of cocaine. Additionally, agents recovered two handguns, one rifle, a money counter, a vacuum sealer, and three measuring scales. In the suspect’s vehicle, 4.1 grams of cocaine were also found. One vehicle was seized during the operation.
Two individuals were arrested and face multiple charges including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (three counts). They are also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (three counts).
