Fugitive Wanted for Multiple Sexual Assault Charges Arrested in Georgia
On September 4, 2024, a collaborative effort led to the arrest of Michael Lesko in Cataula, Georgia. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit, U.S. Marshals, FBI, and West Chester Police Department (Ohio) were involved in the operation. Lesko, who was wanted on multiple charges by the West Chester Police Department, faces the following allegations:
- 7 counts of Rape of a Child under 13
- 8 counts of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor
- 6 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition with a Child under 13
Following his arrest, Lesko was transported to the Harris County Jail in Georgia and will await extradition to Ohio.
