One Arrested for Attempted Carjacking with a Knife, Another for 25 Vehicle Crimes in Glynn County

Two men have been arrested following two different investigations in Glynn County.
The first incident occurred on July 13, at 2128 Perry Lane Rd., where a citizen alerted GCPD Officer Lorraine Owens about a man entering parked vehicles. Officers located the suspect, identified as 37-year-old Nathan Ryan Gress, who was taken into custody. During an interview at GCPD Headquarters, Gress admitted to entering twenty-five vehicles, leading to twenty-five counts of Entering an Automobile.
In a related investigation, Officer Chad Henley responded to a robbery attempt at the nearby Parker’s station located at 2051 Perry Lane Rd. Surveillance footage captured 41-year-old Robert Todd Stubbs attempting to enter a vehicle while threatening the owner with a knife. Stubbs fled the scene without stealing the vehicle. He was later arrested and confessed to the crime during questioning at GCPD Headquarters. Stubbs now faces charges of Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery.
