Arrest Made in April 19th Murder Investigation in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the murder investigation of Rashad Shaquille Reddick. Investigators served an arrest warrant on a Macon man in connection to the death of 29-year-old Reddick.

The incident occurred on April 19, 2024, in the 3500 block of Fair Street. On May 15, 2024, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located 28-year-old Kahlid Harper at a home in the 5100 block of Nesbit Drive.

Investigators connected Harper to the shooting death of Reddick. Harper was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He is being held without bond.
