Clayton County Police Department Alerts Public to Wanted Offender

The Clayton County Police Department has issued an alert for a wanted individual following a concerning incident in Jonesboro, GA. The offender, identified as Artis Dennard, forcibly entered a residence on the 1000 block of Tara Bend, where he confronted the victim, Jackie Marshal, regarding her activities the previous night.

According to reports, Dennard, who is the father of Marshal’s children, brandished a weapon and shot the victim twice in each leg before fleeing the scene through the back door. Authorities arrived shortly after the incident but Dennard had already escaped.

Dennard, a convicted felon with prior involvement in property crimes, is considered armed and dangerous. Multiple warrants have been issued for his arrest in connection with this incident.

Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information on Dennard’s whereabouts to contact 911 immediately or reach out to the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3747. Citizens are advised not to approach Dennard, as he is considered dangerous.
