Fair Street Shooting Claims Life of 29-Year-Old Man

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place within the 3500 block of Fair Street on April 19, 2024, at 11:48 p.m. Friday.

Deputies were dispatched to Fair Street in response to a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered a 29-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel attended to the victim, identified as Rashad Shaquille Reddick, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley. No additional injuries have been reported.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
