On Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful collaborated for the Bellevue Community Cleanup. Volunteers gathered at six designated spots in Macon to form teams for the cleanup effort.

Among the volunteers were Bibb County Sheriff David Davis and Asha Ellen representing Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful. As they worked, one team stumbled upon an abandoned Toyota Corolla concealed in a wooded area.

Further investigation revealed that the Toyota had recently been reported stolen. Although the vehicle was recovered, it had been involved in a crash and was found to be in a non-operational state.
