Gang Case Defendants Denied Bond Following Weapons and Drug Seizures

Four defendants arrested during a gang-related search warrant in Lithonia on April 5, 2024, were denied bond today.

Camryn Byrd, 23, Nashan Hutton (a.k.a. Nahan Hutton), 24, Darin Harris, 20, and Shadae Woods, 19, face charges including possession of firearms and drugs.

The Cedar Park Police Department (Texas) informed the DeKalb County Police Department about armed robbery suspects with connections to DeKalb County, leading to the arrests.

During the search, law enforcement seized 20 firearms, including illegal switches, and a significant amount of drugs.

Additionally, four defendants were charged in connection with a murder at a gas station on April 4, 2024.

Judge Fatima A. El-Amin denied bond, citing community safety concerns. DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston highlighted ongoing investigations into the group’s potential involvement in other crimes. Bond hearings for the remaining 16 defendants are pending
