Teens Arrested After Attempted Car Break-Ins in Athens
On the night of April 5th, witnesses reported to 911 about a group of teenagers attempting to open car doors at an apartment complex on Springdale Ave in Athens, GA. Upon arrival of officers, the suspects fled on foot.
Athens-Clarke County Police, aided by K9 units, successfully located the suspects and retrieved stolen items. Three teenagers, aged 13, 14, and 17, were arrested. One of the apprehended teens was found carrying a firearm.
