Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Arrests After Reckless Driving Incident in Bibb County
On Sunday, February 18, 2024, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies, while monitoring traffic at the intersection of Vineville Avenue and Forest Hill Road, conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle.
The driver of the Hyundai Elantra, instead of complying, accelerated and drove recklessly on the roadway.
Deputies managed to stop the Hyundai and apprehended the driver, who attempted to flee on foot. A female passenger in the vehicle was also detained.
