GBI Investigating Shooting That Injured 18-Year-Old Man in Cuthbert
CUTHBERT, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Cuthbert Police Department with an investigation into a shooting that left an 18-year-old man injured earlier this month.
According to the GBI, Cuthbert police were notified at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Friday, July 3, that an 18-year-old man had been shot earlier that evening in the 200 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Investigators said the victim was transported by another individual to a local EMS station before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the extent of the victim’s injuries or identified any suspects.
The GBI said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
