Georgia Attorney General Announces Madison County Indictment in Victoria’s Secret Theft Case

MADISON COUNTY, GA – Attorney General Chris Carr announced that his Organized Retail Crime Unit has secured an indictment against Esmeralda Rodriquez Teran, Felix J. Teran-Salgado, and Aileen Jovanna Teran-Rodriquez. According to the indictment, the three are accused of unlawfully receiving more than $2,000 in stolen Victoria’s Secret merchandise and selling the stolen items on eBay.

Carr said the statewide Organized Retail Crime Unit is working with law enforcement and retailers to target groups involved in selling stolen goods. He noted the financial impact on businesses and workers across the state.

The investigation was led by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Victoria’s Secret Asset Protection, with assistance from the Attorney General’s Organized Retail Crime Unit.

In October 2025, the Organized Retail Crime Unit presented evidence to a Madison County Grand Jury, which indicted all three defendants.

The charges are as follows:

Esmeralda Rodriquez Teran, 47, of Hull:
• 1 count of Violation of the Fair Business Practices Act
• 1 count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property

Felix J. Teran-Salgado, 52, of Hull:
• 1 count of Violation of the Fair Business Practices Act
• 1 count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property

Aileen Jovanna Teran-Rodriquez, 27, of Hull:
• 1 count of Violation of the Fair Business Practices Act
• 1 count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property

The Attorney General’s Office stated that no additional information can be released at this time.
