Four Arrested, One Wanted After Shooting That Injured Man and Endangered Infant in Milledgeville

Milledgeville, GA – Milledgeville Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Pritchard Street on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m. A 27-year-old male was in his vehicle with his 11-month-old child when multiple suspects opened fire, striking the vehicle and a nearby apartment. The victim sustained at least one gunshot wound and was transported to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. The child was unharmed.

Thanks to swift investigative work, Milledgeville Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the shooting: 21-year-old Kenihis Butts and three juveniles. Butts and one juvenile face charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, seven counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The other two juveniles were charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and seven counts of aggravated assault.

Authorities have also issued warrants for 18-year-old Kentavious Goodman, who is wanted on the same charges as Butts.
