Woman Killed in Domestic-Related Shooting in Conyers; Suspect Captured

UPDATE: The victim in this case has been identified as Massey Watson. The suspect, Kyle Dennis, was captured and arrested on Wednesday, October 8th. He is charged with Malice Murder and Kidnapping.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting believed to be domestic-related that occurred Monday morning in Conyers.

Around 8 a.m. on October 6, 2025, deputies responded to reports of shots fired on Salem Road. When they arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The suspect remains at large, and investigators are still working to determine what led up to the shooting. Deputies say there is no known threat to the public at this time.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate and will release more information as it becomes available.
