Three Teens Injured in Downtown Athens Shooting
ATHENS, GA – In the early hours of Sunday, September 28, 2025, Athens-Clarke County Police responded to a fight in the 100 block of East Clayton Street. As officers dispersed the crowd, members reassembled near Lumpkin Street, and multiple gunshots were fired.
Three teenagers were found with gunshot wounds and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
