GBI Charges Ashburn Man with Murder After Deadly Shooting

Ashburn, GA – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested Zachary Taylor Brown-Earnest, 31, of Ashburn, in connection with the fatal shooting of Sinclair Wynn, 35, of Sycamore.
Brown-Earnest is charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
According to investigators, Ashburn Police responded to a home in the 300 block of West End Street around 12:55 a.m. Saturday after reports of a shooting. A gathering had been taking place at the residence when an argument broke out between Brown-Earnest and Wynn. During the dispute, Brown-Earnest allegedly shot Wynn.
Wynn ran toward his car but collapsed outside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ashburn Police Department requested GBI assistance at approximately 1:05 a.m. The case remains active as investigators continue to gather evidence.
