Macon Man Arrested in Aggravated Assault Investigation

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred late Thursday night.
At 11:38 p.m. on September 25, 2025, deputies responded to a residence in the 4000 block of San Juan Avenue after a call to the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center reported a person shot.
When deputies arrived, they found a 43-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported by paramedics to a local medical facility, where she remains in critical but stable condition, according to medical staff. No other injuries were reported.
Through their investigation, deputies identified 41-year-old Tony Denard Daniels, of Macon, as the suspect. He was taken into custody at the scene, and a firearm connected to the shooting was recovered. Daniels was booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he is being held without bond. He is charged with Aggravated Assault.
