Muscogee County Sheriff’s Special Unit Seizes $128K in Marijuana During Traffic Stop

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga.—A woman has been arrested and charged with felony trafficking after a special unit with the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office seized over 28 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
According to Sheriff Greg Countryman, investigators with the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Collaborative Intelligence Group were conducting crime suppression when they stopped a vehicle and discovered the narcotics.
The driver, Brandon Shyanne Zachary, was found to be in possession of approximately 28.25 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $128,139.
Zachary was taken into custody without incident and charged with Felony Trafficking Marijuana and Following Too Closely.
Sheriff Countryman stated, “We won’t stop until the criminals stop.” The Sheriff’s Office affirmed its commitment to targeting criminal enterprises involving illegal narcotics, gangs, guns, and human trafficking.
