Paulding County Deputies Pay Tribute to Fallen Deputy by Escorting His Children to School

PAULDING COUNTY, GA – On Friday morning, August 1, a group of Paulding County deputies and coworkers of the late Deputy Brandon Cunningham escorted his children to school, honoring his memory nearly a year after he was killed in the line of duty.
Deputy Cunningham’s children were picked up at their home and proudly escorted to school, where deputies walked them into class, just as their father would have. The event served as an emotional reminder of the “strength and unity within our community” and the ongoing support for the families of fallen officers.
“Heroes are never forgotten, and their families are never alone. Never Forget 1169,” the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office stated, referring to Cunningham’s badge number.
