18-Year-Old Arrested After Shooting Injures Man on Paw Trail in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN — Chattanooga Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a shooting that occurred Monday evening, July 28, 2025, in the 4600 block of Paw Trail.

At approximately 7:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a 22-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Homicide Unit led the investigation with assistance from the Crime Scene Unit. Officers, with help from the community, quickly located and detained a suspect.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Jametrious Miller, was interviewed by detectives and subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
