Woman Wanted in Glynn County Crashes Stolen Car After Domestic Assault in Bibb County

Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division arrested a female suspect following a brief pursuit involving a stolen vehicle.

Deputies initially responded to a domestic disturbance where the suspect allegedly assaulted another woman before fleeing the scene in a stolen Ford Fusion. The driver refused to stop for authorities and drove recklessly through an apartment complex before crashing into a garage.

The suspect, who is also wanted in Glynn County on domestic battery charges, was taken into custody at the scene.

She was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the 2nd degree, theft by taking (felony), fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense, criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree, and criminal trespass.

The case remains under investigation.
