Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Massive Drug Haul, Highlights Six-Month Successes

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has announced a significant blow to drug trafficking in the community, seizing over 357 pounds of marijuana and 40 kilos of cocaine from an illegal operation this week.

Sheriff Levon Allen emphasized the department’s commitment, stating, “This is not just a bust. It’s a message: Drugs, stolen guns, and stolen vehicles will not be tolerated in Clayton County. Not on our watch. Not in our neighborhoods. Not in Clayton County. In the last six months, we’ve made it clear that lawlessness has no place here.”

The Sheriff’s Office provided a breakdown of their recovery totals over the past six months, underscoring their ongoing efforts:

  • Stolen Guns Recovered: 79
  • Stolen Vehicles Recovered: 37
  • Cocaine: 40 kilos
  • Marijuana: 372.28 lbs
  • Methamphetamine: 150.75 grams
  • THC Oil: 2,000 mg
  • Crack Cocaine: 69.41 grams
  • MDMA: 6.7 grams and 180 pills
  • Oxycodone Pills: 179
  • Xanax Pills: 41
  • Fentanyl: 4 grams
  • Dextroamphetamine Pill: 1

“This is what it means to secure the future and protect the peace. We are taking criminals off the streets, removing deadly substances, and making our communities safer for every family,” Sheriff Allen added. “We will not stop. We will not back down. We are building a safer Clayton County, one arrest, one recovery, one win at a time.”
