Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Arrest on I-75

A traffic stop initiated by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit Deputy Dalton Palmer resulted in the arrest of a Houston County man for driving under the influence and other charges.
The traffic stop occurred on Interstate 75 near Arkwright Road after the deputy observed a Mercedes-Benz traveling at 87 miles per hour.
According to the report, the driver was driving with a suspended license, exhibited slurred speech, and was not wearing a seatbelt.
He was arrested and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
