Greene County Woman Charged with Malice Murder in Husband’s Death

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested 60-year-old Diane Jordan Foster of Greene County, Georgia, on charges of malice murder and exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult, following the death of her husband, 64-year-old Joe Marvin Foster.

On January 30, 2025, Diane Foster reported discovering her husband’s body at their residence in Greensboro. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI’s assistance in investigating the death. An autopsy conducted by the GBI crime lab revealed unexplained injuries on Joe Foster’s body. Subsequent investigations determined that Diane Foster was responsible for these injuries.

Diane Foster has been taken into custody and is currently held at the Greene County Jail. The GBI’s investigation remains active and ongoing.
