Elementary Students in Forsyth County Break Guinness World Record for Longest Paper Airplane Chain

Poole’s Mill Elementary students in Cumming, GA, have officially set a new Guinness World Record for the longest chain of paper airplanes.

Last year, Dr. Moody’s fifth-grade gifted class, with the help of the entire school, created a chain that spanned 1,991.86 meters and included 9,091 paper airplanes. The achievement was celebrated on November 18, 2024, when the now sixth-grade students returned to their elementary school to receive their world record certificates.
