Atlanta Man Arrested for Murder Following Double Shooting on Bolton Rd.
On November 9, 2024, at approximately 9:32 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers responded to a report of two people shot at 480 Bolton Rd. NW. Upon arriving at the location, officers found a 66-year-old male and a 61-year-old male who had both sustained gunshot wounds. Despite efforts from responding medical personnel, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the investigation, 52-year-old Leatories Carter was arrested and charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection with the deaths. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
