Major Drug Seizure in Carroll County Leads to Arrest of Brothers

On July 29, 2024, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office ACE Unit, with assistance from the Bowdon Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence in Bowdon. This operation, stemming from a narcotics investigation, resulted in the seizure of over one pound of suspected methamphetamine, more than 1.5 ounces of suspected heroin, over one pound of suspected marijuana, MDMA, fentanyl, crack cocaine, firearms, and U.S. currency. Additional evidence related to drug distribution was also recovered.

Deontrey Foster, 38, of Bowdon, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Heroin, Possession With Intent to Distribute MDMA, Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Johnny Foster, 40, also of Bowdon, faces charges of Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Cocaine.

The ACE (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) Unit, comprising investigators from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carrollton Police Department, and University of West Georgia Police Department, conducted the operation.
