Armed Robbers Target Macon Texaco, BCSO Releases Images of Suspects

MACON, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Texaco gas station Tuesday night and is asking for the public’s help identifying two masked suspects.

Deputies were dispatched at approximately 10:03 p.m. on July 14 to the Texaco station located at 2893 Napier Avenue after the robbery was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center.

According to investigators, two masked men entered the store while brandishing a firearm and demanded money from the cash register.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled in an unknown direction. Investigators said it is not yet known whether the suspects left the area in a vehicle.

The first suspect is described as a Black male wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, dark pants and a face mask.

The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, black pants with two white stripes running down the legs and a face mask.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Surveillance images of the suspects were obtained from the store’s security cameras and released by investigators.
