Macon Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Harrison Road
MACON, Ga. — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday morning, April 26th, on Harrison Road.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the collision was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at approximately 11:59 a.m. near the intersection of Harrison Road and Chambers Road.
Investigators said a single vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole.
The driver, identified as 53-year-old Cheryl Denise McNeal of Macon, died as a result of her injuries. Leon Jones confirmed she was pronounced dead at the scene, and next of kin has been notified.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
