Traffic Stop in Waller County Leads to Seizure of 15 Pounds of MDMA, Two Arrested

WALLER COUNTY, Texas — A routine traffic stop resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics and the arrest of two individuals, according to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies conducted a probable cause search of a vehicle on April 16, 2026, and discovered a shoebox in the trunk containing four one-gallon bags filled with multi-colored pills. Authorities identified the pills as MDMA, with a total weight of approximately 15.36 pounds.

Deputies also recovered a small amount of marijuana during the search.

The driver, identified as Gage Courtney, and the passenger, Deungray Prince, were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Waller County Jail.

Both men were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, more than 400 grams. Courtney also faces an additional charge of possession of marijuana.

The investigation remains ongoing.
