Reynolds Man Extradited From Florida to Face Multiple Domestic Violence Felony Charges

A Reynolds man accused in a violent domestic incident has been returned to Georgia after fleeing the state in an attempt to avoid arrest.

On December 22, 2025, Willie C. Brown, 47, of Reynolds, Georgia, was extradited from St. Augustine, Florida, back to Taylor County to face multiple charges stemming from a domestic violence incident reported on November 30, 2025.

Brown is charged with Aggravated Assault (Family Violence), Aggravated Battery (Family Violence), False Imprisonment (Family Violence), all felonies, and one misdemeanor count of Battery (Family Violence).

According to authorities, after being notified that the Reynolds Police Department wanted to speak with him regarding the incident, Brown fled to Florida. Law enforcement was able to track his movements using the Flock Camera System, which ultimately assisted in locating and apprehending him. He was taken into custody in Florida and extradited back to Georgia to face the charges.

Reynolds Police emphasized that domestic violence cases are treated with the utmost seriousness and that investigators remain committed to pursuing offenders across state lines when necessary.

Chief Holder expressed appreciation to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office in Florida for their assistance in entering the warrants into the national crime database and helping secure Brown’s arrest.

Brown remains in custody as the case proceeds through the judicial system.
