Six Arrested After Glynn County Police Raid Two Homes in Ongoing Drug Investigation
Six people were taken into custody after the Glynn County Police Department carried out simultaneous search warrants at two residences on Stonewall Street as part of a narcotics distribution investigation.
The warrants, executed at 3506 and 3507 Stonewall Street, were the result of a joint effort between the GCPD Criminal Investigations Division and the Uniformed Patrol Division. Police said the operation was prompted by ongoing investigative work and multiple community complaints about suspected drug activity in the area.
During the searches, officers seized a significant amount of narcotics, including 662.98 grams of marijuana, 156.45 grams of cocaine, 11.65 grams of crack cocaine, 30 grams of methamphetamine, 20 hydrocodone pills, and 152 oxycodone pills. Detectives also recovered $2,385.52 in cash, several firearms, including a Winchester Model 94 rifle, a Revelation 12-gauge shotgun, and a Springfield Model 15 rifle, along with other items commonly used in drug distribution. Several individuals with outstanding warrants were also located and arrested.
The following suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Glynn County Detention Center:
• Diane Stevens — Possession of Schedule II Substance with Intent to Distribute (Cocaine); Possession of Schedule II Substance (Hydrocodone)
• Jessica Cochran — Two counts of Forgery in the Fourth Degree (outstanding warrants)
• Robert Walker — Possession of Schedule II Substance (Cocaine)
• Joshua Hamilton — Giving False Name and Date of Birth to a Law Enforcement Officer
• Cedric Moody — Violation of Probation (outstanding warrant)
• Ervin Shumen — Possession of Drug-Related Objects; Giving False Name and Date of Birth to a Law Enforcement Officer
Police also announced active arrest warrants stemming from the investigation for:
• Damien Owens — Trafficking in Cocaine; Trafficking in Methamphetamine; Possession of Schedule II Substance with Intent to Distribute (Oxycodone); Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Drug-Related Objects
• Thaddeus Marion — Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
