Richmond County Sheriff Seeks Suspect in Aggravated Assault

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 27-year-old Dennis Lamar Berrien in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Thursday, December 4th, in the 2500 block of Teakwood Drive, Augusta, GA.

Berrien is considered homeless and is known to frequent the area around Teakwood Drive and Travis Road, often staying in abandoned properties. He is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10” tall, and weighing 200 pounds.

Authorities warn the public that Berrien may be armed and dangerous.
