Bibb County Man Arrested After Trespassing and Attempted Flight on Bicycle

MACON, Georgia – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Adam Grant arrested a man recently following a brief pursuit off Sardis Church Road.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect repeatedly entered private property without permission and was found by Investigator Grant hiding near a privacy fence. When the suspect attempted to leave the area on a bicycle, he was apprehended in a nearby wooded area.

The male suspect was armed with a large knife at the time of his arrest. He has been charged with criminal trespass and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer. The suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center without further incident.
