Gwinnett County Domestic Homicide Leaves Two Dead, Police Seek Information

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a domestic-related homicide that resulted in the deaths of a man and a woman.

Officers from the Central Precinct responded to a welfare check around 11:11 a.m. on the 400 block of Clearwater Place in Lawrenceville. Upon arrival, both victims were found deceased inside the home. A firearm was recovered at the scene.

Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Specialists are actively investigating, and the medical examiner is assessing the cause of death. Preliminary findings indicate the incident appears to have been isolated between the two individuals. Victim identities will be released after family notification.
