GBI-Led Task Force Arrests Two Macon Residents in Major Drug and Firearm Bust

MACON, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (GBI-MGGTF) has arrested Ervin Hubbard III, 40, and Deyondra Lindsey, 36, both of Macon, following a two-month-long, multi-agency drug investigation targeting central Georgia’s drug distribution and gang activity.

The extensive operation involved the collaboration of the GBI-MGGTF, Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia State Patrol, Department of Community Supervision, Dublin Police Department, Peach County Sheriff’s Office, and Warner Robins Police Department.

The investigation culminated on Thursday, November 20, 2025, when the Task Force executed an arrest warrant and a search warrant at an apartment on Winton Avenue in Macon.

Seized Evidence

The search warrant yielded a substantial cache of drugs, firearms, and cash, including:

  • Approximately 0.5 kilograms of suspected Methamphetamine.
  • Approximately 2.5 ounces of suspected Powder Cocaine.
  • Approximately 3.4 pounds of Marijuana.
  • Approximately 172 pills of suspected Oxycodone, along with a small amount of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms and THC edible products.
  • Four firearms, including one Draco-style pistol, two handguns, and one shotgun.
  • Approximately $36,000 USD in currency.

Charges Filed

Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Bibb County Jail.

Ervin Hubbard III was charged with numerous felonies, including Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II Hydrocodone Pills with Intent to Distribute, four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and four counts of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.

Deyondra Lindsey was charged with Possession of Marijuana more than one ounce and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
