Brookhaven Police Arrest Five in Early-Morning Apartment Vehicle Break-Ins
BROOKHAVEN, GA – On November 13, 2025, at approximately 4:47 a.m., Brookhaven Police officers arrested five suspects involved in a series of vehicle break-ins at an apartment complex near Clairmont Road.
Officers responded after multiple reports of individuals attempting to enter vehicles in the parking deck. Upon arrival, two suspect vehicles tried to flee. One officer successfully blocked the lead vehicle, and when the driver ran toward a second vehicle, officers issued commands and secured compliance, taking all suspects into custody without incident.
Investigators recovered firearms, tools, and other equipment consistent with criminal activity. Preliminary findings indicate the group may have been involved in offenses at other locations, prompting detectives to expand their investigation.
“Brookhaven officers acted quickly and decisively, preventing these individuals from escaping and putting a stop to their criminal activity,” said Police Chief Brandon Gurley. “Our priority is to protect our community, and this case demonstrates how effective teamwork keeps residents safe.”
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brookhaven Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit at (404) 637-0600.
