Lawrenceville Police Locate Suspect Vehicle Tied to Loganville CVS Shooting

On Friday, November 14th, around 4 p.m., the Lawrenceville Police Department received a BOLO from the Loganville Police Department regarding a vehicle connected to a serious incident in their jurisdiction. The alert included the vehicle description and license plate number linked to a shooting at the CVS parking lot off Highway 78 and Conyers Road in Loganville.

Using the department’s FLOCK camera system, officers quickly identified that the vehicle had entered Lawrenceville city limits. Officers located it on West Crogan Street near Culver Street and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was taken into custody without incident.

The individual detained is the suspect in the Loganville shooting, where a woman was shot in the head. She was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital and remains in critical condition. Her name has not been released.

The driver and vehicle are being turned over to Loganville Police for the ongoing investigation.

The Lawrenceville Police Department praised its officers for their quick response, noting that their coordination and professionalism helped bring the situation to a safe and orderly conclusion.
