Routine Traffic Stop Uncovers Crack Cocaine and Ecstasy in Bibb County

A Bibb County man was taken into custody on drug charges following a traffic stop conducted by Deputy John Kile of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division.

According to the incident report, Deputy Kile initiated the stop after observing a GMC Yukon fail to use a turn signal and operate without working taillights. During the stop, the deputy noticed the driver holding a silver cylinder in his lap, which was later found to contain crack cocaine.

A further search revealed additional narcotics, including ecstasy, in the driver’s pocket. The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
