Woman Arrested After Stabbing at Brunswick Hotel, Police Say
BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A woman is under arrest and facing multiple charges after an assault and stabbing Tuesday evening, October 28th, at the America’s Best Value Inn & Suites, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing and found a man suffering from a single stab wound to his back. He was taken to Southeast Georgia Health System’s Brunswick Campus for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Surveillance footage showed the victim leaving a hotel room with visible injuries, followed by a woman later identified as his fiancée, 34-year-old Leticia Nottingham. Police located Nottingham a short time later and brought her in for questioning.
Investigators determined the assault stemmed from a domestic dispute between the two. Nottingham was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault (Family Violence Act) and Possession of a Firearm or Knife During the Commission of Certain Felonies.
