Robins Financial Donates K to Local Teachers Through GRANTED Program

MACON, Ga. — Robins Financial Credit Union awarded more than $54,000 to 30 local teachers through its 4th Annual GRANTED program, supporting classroom innovation and supplies across the credit union’s 45-county service area.

Launched in 2022, the GRANTED program helps K-12 educators fund projects and classroom needs from their wish lists. Since its inception, Robins Financial has provided over $159,000 in grants to teachers.

“Through our GRANTED program, we are proud to help local teachers bring their creative classroom ideas to life,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial. “Their dedication to shaping the minds of future generations inspires us every day.”

Recipients include teachers from Macon, Milledgeville, Athens, Conyers, Perry, Warner Robins, and surrounding areas. One recipient, Alicia Johnson of Baldwin County High School, used her grant to create a mobile math classroom, allowing students to engage in dynamic, hands-on learning outside the traditional classroom setting.

The program underscores Robins Financial’s commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of Georgia’s students.
