Pregnant Woman Violently Assaulted in Crisp County, One Arrested, Another At-Large
Wanted: Keyonna Killens

CRISP COUNTY, Ga. — On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, just before noon, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an aggravated assault within the city limits of Cordele.

Deputies learned that two suspects, identified as Keyonna Killens and Anjarvius Lavant, forcibly entered a residence by kicking in the door and assaulted a pregnant woman. The victim was kicked and hit during the attack and was transported to Crisp Regional Hospital for treatment.

Investigators arrested Anjarvius Lavant, 29, of Cordele, GA. He has been charged with:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Home Invasion – 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Damage to Property – 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony

Authorities are now actively searching for Keyonna Killens, 30, of Vienna, GA. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Killens is wanted on the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Criminal Attempt to Commit Feticide
  • Home Invasion – 1st Degree
  • Criminal Damage to Property – 2nd Degree (3 counts)

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information on Killens’ whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
