17-Year-Old Arrested in Macon for Metter Murder

MACON, GA — On Monday, July 21, 2025, Bibb County deputies arrested 17-year-old Is’real Kiven-Nicholas Saunders on a warrant issued by Metter Police for Murder. Saunders is accused in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Metter, Georgia.
The original incident happened around 3:00 PM at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and East Lee Street. Metter Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired. Candler County deputies and investigators also responded to secure the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested to assist.
Officers located the victim, identified as Quincy Hall, suffering from gunshot wounds. Hall was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the investigation, Saunders and 34-year-old Alfonzo Deondre Tippins were identified as suspects. Tippins remains at large.
