Two Suspects Wanted in Fatal Shooting of Quincy Hall in Metter

METTER, GA – The Metter Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, July 11, 2025, around 3:00 p.m. in the area of MLK Boulevard and East Lee Street.
Upon receiving a call reporting shots fired, officers from the Metter Police Department’s patrol and investigative divisions arrived on scene within minutes. Candler County deputies and investigators also responded and assisted in securing the area.
The victim, identified as Quincy Hall, was found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased by Candler County Coroner Jamie Anderson, who coordinated with Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) crime scene agents to secure and transport Hall’s body to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Chief McKinley Lewis requested assistance from the GBI. Special Agents Joe Cephus and Stephen Morris worked alongside Metter PD and Candler County Sheriff’s Office investigators into the early hours of Saturday, July 12. Their investigation led to the issuance of warrants for two suspects:
- Alfonzo Deondre Tippins, Black Male, aged 34
- Is’real Kiven-Nicholas Saunders, Black Male, Aged 17
