60-Year-Old Meth Dealer Apprehended in Coffee County

Following a month-long investigation, the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed a search warrant on June 24, 2025, leading to the arrest of Glen Merrill, 60, on drug distribution charges.
During the search of a residence, detectives discovered quantities of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales, items commonly associated with drug distribution. Merrill, a resident of the searched location, was later found as a passenger in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, and he was taken into custody without incident.
Merrill was found to have two active arrest warrants and now faces additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute. He was transported to the Coffee County Law Enforcement Center.
