Atlanta Police Charge 19-Year-Old in Cushman Circle Homicide

Atlanta Police have charged 19-year-old Michael Hollis with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on June 12, 2025, at 3200 Cushman Circle SW.

Hollis was detained by the Gwinnett County Police Department on June 13, 2025, and subsequently transported to the Fulton County Jail for processing.

The investigation began on June 12, 2025, at approximately 7:09 PM, when officers responded to a “person shot” call at the Cushman Circle SW address. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The male was unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which has now led to Hollis’s arrest.
