Seven Arrested in Paulding County Operation Targeting Vape Sales to Minors

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force, has launched “Operation Clear Air,” a two-month initiative aimed at curbing the illegal sale of vape products to minors.
So far, seven individuals have been arrested as deputies and agents continue targeting convenience stores and service stations suspected of selling vape supplies to underage customers. The operation utilizes youthful informants, under supervision of the Sheriff’s Office, who attempt to purchase vape products from various retail locations across the county.
Authorities say the effort is ongoing, with additional enforcement actions planned. The operation’s objective is to identify and prosecute those who unlawfully provide nicotine products to minors in the community.
